INDIANA — A man was taken into custody Friday after a drug investigation uncovered six pounds of suspected methamphetamine, according to the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force.
Detectives began surveillance after receiving a tip about a large meth delivery headed to a specific Evansville address.
During the operation, 27-year-old Davont Terry was seen in the area multiple times before allegedly approaching the address and picking up a package containing meth.
He was later stopped by police and arrested. Terry now faces charges of Dealing in Methamphetamine.
Authorities confirmed they recovered around six pounds of suspected methamphetamine during the investigation.
