NEW YORK, NY — A man wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey is wanted by police after allegedly stabbing another man during a violent altercation inside a Manhattan deli over the weekend, according to the NYPD.
The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday at Cafe Deli-Cious, located on West 23rd Street near Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. Authorities say the suspect approached a 36-year-old man inside the store and a heated argument broke out.

Suspect Returned and Stabbed Victim
According to police, the confrontation escalated when the suspect initially left the store but returned moments later. Upon reentering, he reportedly brandished a sharp object and stabbed the victim multiple times, striking him in the stomach and chest.
Surveillance Video Released
The NYPD released surveillance footage Tuesday night showing the beginning of the confrontation. The suspect is seen wearing a black and red Chicago Bulls jersey, a baseball cap, and has visible tattoos on his neck and arm. The victim is blurred in the footage, and the actual stabbing is not shown.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition, police said.
Suspect at Large
It is unclear whether the victim was an employee of the deli. Police have not identified the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
