Man Shot by Homeowner During Attempted Break-In in North Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot by a North Portland homeowner early Thursday morning during an alleged attempted break-in.

Police responded around 1:30 a.m. to a home in the 700 block of North Baldwin Street, where a caller reported shooting a man who was trying to break in through the front door.
