INDIANAPOLIS — A second man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Frederick Martin on the city’s east side last November.
On the morning of Wednesday, June 18, officers with the IMPD Violent Crimes Unit arrested Glori Rhoades in the 1700 block of Zwingley Street, near South Keystone Avenue and East Minnesota Street. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Rhoades with murder and armed robbery in Martin’s death.

The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2024, in the 1500 block of North Arlington Avenue, just south of East 16th Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Martin in a parking lot with gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Rhoades’ initial court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24.
Police previously arrested 18-year-old Stanley Proctor, who turned himself in on Feb. 24, 2025. He also faces a murder charge and is due in court for a pretrial conference on the same day, June 24.
