During the investigation, police learned the suspect had fled to another apartment. With assistance from the Marion County SWAT Team, officers served a search warrant at that location but did not find the suspect.

Just a few hours later, around 6 a.m., police spotted 37-year-old Luis Tlehuactle Morales walking near Pacific Highway 99E and Blaine Street. He was taken into custody without incident.

Tlehuactle Morales is being held at the Marion County Jail on multiple charges, including attempted murder, first-degree assault, and unlawful use of a weapon.
